A Perfect Sunrise Angkor Wat Tour We had a great time with our guide Tom, and Southeast Asia Journeys made it super easy for us to visit Angkor Wat for the sunrise tour. Tom knew the perfect spot where we could sit and watch the sunrise away from the crowds, and he had a bunch of great suggestions for places to take photos (for those who care to get the perfect shot). The air conditioned car with cool towels after every stop and bottled water was a huge plus! A Great Half-Day Tour to See Local Life in Siem Reap I really enjoyed the Siem Reap Half Day Kampong Phluk Tour. It was a great way to see a different side of Cambodia and learn about local life outside the city. The visit to Kampong Phluk was very interesting. Seeing the stilt houses, the flooded forest, and how people live with changing water levels was eye-opening and memorable. The experience felt authentic and not rushed, which I really appreciated. For me I like when the team help me with all admission fees were handled smoothly as part of the tour, which made the experience easy and stress-free. Very manageable. As a solo traveler, I appreciated that it never felt crowded or overwhelming. The guide was excellent friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He explained everything clearly and shared stories about daily life, culture, and history that made the experience more meaningful. He also made sure I was comfortable and enjoying the tour as a solo traveler. The driver was very professional as well. The ride was smooth and safe, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. He was always on time and very polite. Overall, the tour was well organized and offered great hospitality from both the guide and the driver. An Amazing Day Out with Our Guide Sina! Sina, our guide came highly recommended and did not disappoint! He and the driver of our beautiful private van picked us up from our hotel and took care of everything during the day. We saw Angkor Wat at sunrise and 2 additional beautiful temples. What made the experience extra special was Sina’s incredible knowledge of the Khmer history, the carved stories and the people who built, designed and crafted the temples. ..oh, and the ice cold towels every time we returned to the van were a hit. Sunrise and Guide Blew me away! All I can say is that I am so blown away and my visit to Siem Reap has far exceeded my expectations. Sina and our tour was truly mind blowing. We started out with him and our driver picking us up promptly at 4:45 am( I know but we were racing against the sunrise!) and immediately we were greeted with such warmth and a fabulous very comfy van. We proceeded to go to the ticket area and were immediately guided without much confusion or trouble to the ticket booth and we were on our way! Sina gave us so much information on the temples and their origins that I found so fascinating. We arrived and he quickly escorted my partner and I to a less crowded area which let us get a fabulous view right at the gate. Then it was time to watch the sunrise over the temple……BREATHTAKING! I was stunned at how moved I was as it certainly was a sight to behold. We then proceeded to visit the temple and then broke for breakfast and continued on to 3 other locations. There was wonder at every turn and Sina was a wealth of information and hilarious at that. He also is an amazing photographer which was great because my partner is incredibly picky and normally has to direct ever picture as if it were a full on photo shoot and he didn’t have to with Sina. We then went to a lovely place for lunch and it was off to the floating fisherman village. It was so cool and interesting to see and I am glad I had the opportunity to. All in all I rate this experience 10 out 10. If you are coming to Siem Reap and want to tour the temples, Sina is your go to person. Please book with him! Amazing Tour of Angkor, Definitely Recommend We had an amazing time seeing Angkor with our tour guide Vong. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and always made sure that we had fun and unique photos. The van was very comfortable and clean, and our driver and Vong were always waiting for us at every pick up point with cold towels and water bottles. Vong answered every question we had about Ankgor and Cambodia in general. We started closer to 8am rather than doing the sunrise which was better for our group so that we had energy to enjoy the day of seeing the temples. SE Asian Journeys provides top notch service. SE Asian journeys were nothing but professional, organized, and knowledgeable. If you book with them, you will not worry about anything. The airport transfer was extremely convenient. I would like to specially thank Mr Vuth our driver who was always extremely helpful and friendly, and also Mr Vanith our driver who was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Angkor Wat sites and the surrounding temples. He showed us many interesting things that I would not have found by myself Highly recommend these guys for visiting Angkor Wat and their temple biking tour.
