Cambodia may be visited all year, but what you see and how you view it will vary depending on the season. It is easier to go during the dry season, which lasts from November to April.
Roads to faraway temples, which might be inaccessible during the wet season, are open if you don’t mind a little dust. The rainy season, which lasts from May through October, provides Cambodia with a fresh coat of paint. Fields turn green, roads turn brown, and ponds sprout up all around.
The rainy season fits Cambodia, and it is a perfect time to visit if you don’t mind driving on muddy roads and don’t mind hiding from an afternoon rainstorm while seeing temples. The only season you should avoid Cambodia is from March to May, when it is quite hot.
